My TP30 tiller autopilot has been great since I bought it some 8 years ago, however, yesterday, when I pulled the shaft off the the tiller (on the stand-b mode) the shaft started to rotate, pretty fast too. My last boat was a long keeled classic with a steep angle on the rudder and this caused no end of problems and over the years I tried and consequently destroyed most of the autopilots on the market. We are quite happy with them after changing the original "professional" installation to match Simrad's recommendations. Apparently it was stolen before I bought it.
